Eight therapy dog teams from Angel On A Leash rang the ceremonial closing bell for the NASDAQ Stock Market on Tuesday, March 10, in New York, selected for the honor for winning a Community Partnership Award for its program with the Ronald McDonald House of New York. 

Families from the Ronald McDonald House were on hand for the event, as well, joining Angels Lille, Belle, Lilly, Mr. Gruffyd Babayan, Fauna, Tucker, Teigh and Angel.  David Frei, president and CEO of Angel On A Leash, presided over the ceremony, along with Ralph Vogel, director of volunteer services for the Ronald McDonald House, and Tom Moran, CEO of Mutual of America.

The ceremony also helped to celebrate the biggest one-day gains for stocks since mid-November, with the NASDAQ Composite up 7.1% and the Dow up 5.8% for the day.
